Day 1:
Bennington & Peterborough, New Hampshire

and climbed....
and finally made it to the summit. YAY!!

Day 3:

the General (i.e. George Washington) welcoming everyone to boston common
pews in Old North Church. the little doors had the names of the family that sat there on Sundays. Very cute.

Day 4
BOSTON RED SOX and Beacon Hill
Beacon Hill - with its quaint cobblestone streets and ivy coated exteriors
the grand Boston Library...quite the site to see
they have a courtyard in the middle of this grand library

while visiting boston common, Nathan was randomly interviewed by the MLB channel.
the North End - maybe the best cannoli i've ever had!
the paul revere house - also in the North End
Faneuil Hall - Nathan's fav place in boston (excluding fenway park, of course)
i think this one is self-explanatory (do you hear the angels singing? haha!)
as we were looking for our seats, Nathan spotted two of his milton, ga baseball players in our row! we can't even go to boston, ma without running into one of his students/players!!
in the bottom of the 7th it started raining. we still had tons of fun singing along to any song they could find that had the work 'rain' in it and checking out the stadium. perfect ending to a great vacation!!!

It was a fabulous vacation with tons of walking. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip; seeing Nathan's old stomping grounds and visiting a very historic city. New England is definitely a vacation I recommend to all.

I loved looking at all these pictures!! Ohh, good ol Peterborough, huh Nate!! Doesn't it seem SOOOO much smaller now when you go back? Maybe it just did for me since I was only 9 when we moved...Anyway, glad you had a great trip! Looks like you packed in a lot of fun things. You are such a cute couple and I love seeing you so happy Nathan! :) Happy Thanksgiving!
